Ken
Frazee, 65 died in a Boise hospital of diabetes complications on April 14,
2014. Ken was born on May 25, 1948 in Salmon, ID to Mildred Hyden Frazee
and Kenneth Frazee. Ken graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree
in Civil Engineering. He helped design many of Idaho’s bridges, roads and parks
while serving as a Civil Engineer. He married his devoted companion, skiing
partner and fellow traveler, Bonnie Sermon on November 26, 2004
He was
a Harley rider, golfer, skier and loved camping with his friends and family. Ken
especially valued the spiritual retreats he attended in many of our country’s
most pristine and beautiful places. Throughout his life he always considered
others first. Ken was kind and compassionate. He made deep and lasting
friendships.
He was
a perfect gentleman, a poet, a dancer, a songwriter and was known for his discriminating
sense of humor and razor-sharp mind. He
was a peaceful warrior, who died in battle.
Ken is
survived by his wife Bonnie, children Jill Sermon and Ryan Sermon, his nieces
Cherylene Abney and Renee Callaghan, his nephew Keith (and Faith) Abney and
dearly loved cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister
Cheryl.
Ken asked that no public
