and neighborly love that proved to be immensely valuable to him for the rest of
his life. Ken went to high school in Oakley where he excelled in sports and was
the Student Body President, graduating in 1939. He went on to earn 4 degrees in
civil and electrical engineering at Utah
State, the University of Utah,

starting his engineering career.

career at Hughes Aircraft in the Los
Angeles area where he worked in various programs
involving radar systems, including training and performing radar systems
engineering for numerous military aircraft programs, including the F-14 and

After retiring in 1987, Ken enjoyed golfing, spending time
with family, doing TV repairs for friends, and helping his condominium
neighbors in Culver City
with repairs and financial affairs. Ken was loved dearly by all those he came
in contact with. Among the many qualities he was endeared for were his:
kindness, likeability, generosity, helpfulness, conscientiousness, quick
