Kenneth L. Hopkins, 82, of Eagle, Idaho died Tuesday, December
27, 2016 at home of natural causes.
Kenneth was born July 29, 1934 in Nampa, Idaho the son of
Harold and Mildred Trotter Hopkins.
He
grew up in Caldwell graduating from Caldwell High School.
He then attended the College of Idaho.
Kenneth served honorably in the Idaho Army
National Guard for thirty five years.
He
worked for the Boise Interagency Fire Center.
He also owned and operated Hopkins Angus Ranch for many years.
On December 4, 1969 Kenneth married Rozella in Boise.
They just celebrated their forty seventh
wedding anniversary.
They lived in
Boise and Star and Eagle, Idaho.
Kenneth and Rozella had many interests including traveling, and
scuba diving.
He was a member of the
Boise Barbershop Chorus for thirty years.
In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by three sons,
Richard Hopkins, Raymond Hopkins, and Philip Hopkins; one daughter Suzanne
Warner and a niece Samantha Butero and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A committal service was held on May 5, 2017 at the Idaho State Veterans
Cemetery.
