Kurt was born in Boise, Idaho
on November 10,1952 to James T. Alexander and Bernadine Bradford
Alexander.
He passed away on December 6,
2013 at the age of 61 with his family at his bedside.
He went to Hawthorne
Elementary School, East Junior High and graduated from Boise High School in
1971. During his school years he played
little league baseball.
He was married and divorced
to Tracey Rose and Judy Shindle.
He worked in Electrical Sales
in and around Boise for many years, retiring from that line of work in the
early 2000’s.
He loved to watch sports on
TV…. especially enjoyed watching the Chicago Bulls play basketball and the San
Francisco 49er’s play football. He also
became an avid Boise State fan and hardly ever missed a game. He enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and
puttering around the house. He was
always fixing something and kept mom’s house in good working order.
He is survived by his mother,
Bernadine Alexander; brother, Jim Alexander, Jr; sister Jan Hall and husband
Jessie Hall; daughter Cindy Crain and husband Paul Crain; 3 grandchildren, 2
Aunts - Nedra Blackwell and Bonnie Bradford, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great
nieces, 4 great nephews and many cousins.
Kurt was preceded in death by
his father, James T. Alexander; both sets of grandparents, 2 Aunts, 3 Uncles
and several cousins.
As Kurt requested, there will
be graveside services on Friday, December 13
th
at 1pm at the Dry
Creek Cemetery under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel and
Crematory.
The family would like to
thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff in the Emergency Dept. and the 4 South
nursing unit for their kindnesses during this difficult time.
