With deepest sorrow, we
announce that Kyle John Westendorf, age 24, our most beloved son, brother,
family member and friend, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at
home.
Kyle was born on April 11, 1995
in Boise, Idaho. He attended Cole Valley Christian Schools until his senior
year when he graduated from Mountain View High School in Meridian, Idaho in
2013. He then attended Boise State University for one year, and had since
worked a variety of jobs.
Those who knew Kyle appreciated
his generous personality along with his quirky sense of humor. He was very
adventuresome, partaking in activities such as snowboarding, golfing, biking, and even
cooking. He also loved to read, and found great joy in sharing his learned
knowledge with others.
Kyle will be missed everyday by
his father Kelly, his mother Doreen, big sister Erin, little sister Lindy, his Grandma
Shirley Hollibaugh, and his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
We know Kyle is now with his Grandpa
Henry and Grandma Jackie Westendorf, his Grandpa Merle Jones, and his Grandpa
Carl Hollibaugh. Kyle is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.
Even though his time on earth
was too short, we were able to enjoy many special times together as a family.
We have fond memories of attending Boise State football games, sharing in
holiday traditions, and spending family vacations in Disneyland. In October
2019, we were also able to spend a week together in Hawaii which was a blessing
and has provided many treasured memories.
Please join us in a Celebration
of Life Ceremony for Kyle on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 3:30pm at Alden-Waggoner
Funeral Home. We will be wearing casual “Hawaiian themed” clothes to remember
our recent trip and how much fun we had being together as a family..
