Laura Ann Bogstie
Laura Ann Bogstie, 75, of
Boise, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 14, 2012, surrounded by her
family.
Laura was born November 3,
1936 in Langdon, North Dakota, to Joe and Rose Zeis. She spent most of her youth in Wales, North
Dakota until she met her only love, Orland L. Bogstie, and moved to Bristol,
Indiana. They later moved to Boise, Idaho.
Laura worked as the
housekeeping supervisor at St. Luke’s Hospital for 25 years. Her favorite things to do were crotchet and
spend time with her family.
Laura was preceded in death
by her husband, Orland L. Bogstie, her parents, Joe and Rose Zeis, and her
sister, Delores Spratt.
She is survived by her three
children, Aggie Marie Bogstie, Duane Joseph Bogstie, and Steven Orland
Bogstie. She is also survived by her six
grandchildren, Jason, Blake, HaiLee, Swayzie, Dalton, and Drayden. Whenever we hear the w
ords
“I know it,” we will smile and lovingly think of her.
A blessing service will be
announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of
Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.
