Linda A Coates (Wilson) 71 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 30. 2021, after a month-long struggle with pneumonia. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Don Coates and daughters Danielle and Tony Malais, Holly and Zach Hey and son James and Angela Coates. Grandchildren, Emily and Jake Eberhardt, Mikaela and Steve Lewallen, Kaitlyn Hey, Jessica Thorne, Patrick Thorne, Leo Coates, Xander Hey, and Ann Marie Coates. Her great- grandchildren, Preston Reese, Ethan Roberts, Austin Roberts, Gannon Roberts and Elodie Lewallen.
Linda was born in Payette, ID and was raised in various
places in Idaho, she spent the last 20 years in Boise, ID.
She loved to sew and craft.
She is fiercely protective of her family.
Linda loved Jesus and her family
with all of her heart.
She was very close to all her nieces and
nephews and made time to attend as many of their events as possible.
Her great grandsons would spend the night
with her and grandpa weekly. Linda would shuttle children around, shop for
those of us who had to work and had weekly coffee dates with her friends.
She also would go to at least one bible study
class a week.
She loved to teach her
grandchildren her love of sewing, raising plants and gardening.
A Memorial service will be at Life Church on Saturday
January 8. 2022 @ 11:30 am.
