Linda A. Knudsen

Linda A. Knudsen was born in Wallace, Idaho on April 21, 1947 to John Kingsbury and Virginia Casner, and passed away on February 2, 2025, in Boise, Idaho with her loving family at her side.

She was the youngest on three siblings herself, Jonna Kingsbury (deceased) and Steve Kingsbury of Scottsdale, Arizona.

She married Kelly Knudsen on May 28, 1966 in Idaho City, Idaho with that union lasting for 59 years until her death.

She had two children, Rob Knudsen born may 22, 1973; and Amy Slee (Brook) born July 22, 1975. She had four grandchildren – Jack Knudsen, Sam Knudsen, Jude Slee and Corey Slee which she loved dearly.

She worked for Blue Cross of Idaho for 10 years. She retired in 1984 after being diagnosed with MS. The disease was mild for a number of years but turned disabling in the last 10 to 12 years. Her family took care of her and offered support and care during all those years.

She was a proud member of the first graduating class of Bishop Kelly High School in 1965.

She had many interests over the years with her main one playing cards. She spent many hours laying cribbage, pinochle, solitaire and other card games.

The family will hold no official services but will plan a memorial gathering at a later date.
