Linda Faye Sevy was born on Sunday June 30, 1940 in Caldwell, Idaho to Noah & Sybil Sevy. She was the oldest daughter of 18 children. Linda passed away Friday evening April 19, 2024, at her home in Homedale, Idaho.
She attended grade school and junior high school in the Marsing school district.
Linda was baptized into the Followers of Christ Church on Sunday November 13, 1960 by Donny Baldwin where she attended church her entire life.
Linda married Duane L Granden on Saturday March 18, 1961. They were married for 43 years until Duane’s passing on September 30, 2004. They were blessed with 10 children, Brent, Kent, Mindy, Greg, Eric, Melissa, Margette, Alexander, Aaron and Nicholas.
Linda later married Clyde Perry on Saturday October 4, 2008. Clyde and Linda were married for a little over 3 ½ years until Clyde’s passing on April 19, 2012.
Linda was a mid-wife in the church for over 50 years and delivered several children with Shirley Hunter and others in later years.
As a widow, Linda visited her children and grandchildren along with the sick and other widows. Linda did not have a hobby in her later years outside of visiting and reading her bible. She was a good example for those around her.
Linda was preceded into rest by her parents Noah and Sybil Sevy, 10 siblings, Jimmy, Donald, Ralph, Roger, Clyde, Joyce, Joan, Cynthia, Stanley, Kenny, husband’s Duane & Clyde, daughter Mindy, twin son’s Brent and Kent, daughters in law Tara, Angie and Lydia, granddaughters Amber, Carly, Arrian, grandson Dillon, and great grandson Grayson.
Linda is survived by 7 siblings Marquita, Lyle, Susan, Sylvia, Howard, Latisha, Tammi, her children Greg & Lisa, Eric & Kila, Missy & Brian, Margette & Steve, Alex & Sharell, Aaron & Heather and Nick & Kristy, son-in-law Bobby Shippy, 58 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren.
Linda lived her faith to the very end.
The family would like to thank everybody who set up with Linda and for their prayers, food and time spent with her.
