She has

sisters
LaVonne Darrow, now deceased, and Lillie Slifka Hall. She married Edward T.
McCracken in Cascade, Idaho in
1946
upon his return from the
Navy. Lois and Ed have two children, Linda A Austin and Tommy L McCracken. Dad
passed away November
2004.
Lois has five grandchildren, Scott McFarland, Robby Robinson,
Kerrie Owens, Bobby McCracken and Cindy McCracken; twelve great grandchildren,
one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. We are so thankful
and blessed to have been raised by a dear Christian mom. Her faith was
unrelenting always teaching us the answer to our problems in life was prayer.
Thank you mom for teaching us how to follow you on the new Heavenly journey you
have now begun! She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy for over 60
years. She loved the Lord and people and people loved her. Mom loved her family
very much and showed it by all the wonderful dinners she would cook with her
warm hospitality. Through the years she was always there, standing alongside
us, no matter what.
Since very young childhood mom loved to fish
.
She
has traveled to many wonderful places to just fish. She loved mostly going to
Elk Meadows near Stanley, Idaho to catch Brook Trout that were there by the
creel full. Along with the fishing she and her family enjoyed the camping trips
with many close friends and family members. Mom liked to travel and was always
ready to go. In fact she would boast her middle name was "Go". She
never refused to go anyplace but she especially liked doing it in her motor
home.
Mom was a professional seamstress and has sewn for numerous
notable clients over her successful career. She dearly loved sewing machines
and even knew how to repair most of them as many will att

ing things that were dirt cheap. She would mostly do this so she
could give it away to someone in need.
Many thanks to all the helpful people of Horizon Home Health
& Hospice who provided a much needed medical service for us.
