Lois Smith

Lois Edith Smith, 87, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 2, 2022, at The Cottages of Meridian.

Lois was born on March 6, 1935, in Blue Eye, Missouri, she was the daughter of Ralph and Ella Mae Youngblood.  In July 1936, they moved west to Idaho.  She attended school in Weiser and this is where she met the love of her life, Victor.

Lois and Victor were married on December 1, 1954, and were blessed with 2 wonderful children, Vicki Rice, and Steve Smith.

Lois will be remembered for her glowing smile, loving heart, and quick wit.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her two brothers, and her nephew.

She is survived by her Daughter Vicki, Son Steve, sister in law Pat, five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, nephew and numerous cousins.

A special thank you to the staff at The Cottages of Meridian for their kindness, caring and love shown to Lois as well as their support to her family.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, October  7, 2022 at 11am at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Home, 5400 Fairview Ave. in Boise.  Interment will be next to her husband at the Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise at a later date.
