Loretta Margaret King, of
Boise, Idaho, passed Thursday, March 28, of natural causes. She is survived by
her son David, her daughter Lisa, and her siblings Bob Cramer, Don Cramer, Mary
Jane Berrier, Joe Cramer, and Rose Reynolds. She joins her husband Richard, her
parents, and her oldest brother, June, and grandson Michael, in heaven.
Born in Lewistown,
Pennsylvania, on December 3, 1932, she lived the first half of her life in
Lewistown and York, Pennsylvania, among her extended family. Loretta, Richard,
Lisa, and David moved to Boise, Idaho in 1977. Here, she was very active member
of the Central Assembly Church, in Boise, until her health began to decline
around 2012. After her husband passed, she lived with her son and his family
until she moved to assisted living in 2013. Among the care staff, she was known
as sweet, thoughtful, and easy to love.
She is remembered by her many
nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters for her kindness, her excellent cooking,
and trips to the Shore, or Hershey Park, or to see family. After leaving
Pennsylvania, she kept in good touch with her extended family, calling often,
celebrating new babies and graduations, and sending and receiving packages of
clothing, inspirational gifts, and goodies.
