Lynn Charles Dorman, 78, passed away on December 4, 2014,
from a heart attack.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014
at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral, at 5400 Fairview Ave in Boise, ID at 12 noon.
Lynn was born to Darrell Homer and Gina Bernice Pedersen
Dorman on April 18, 1936, in Wendell, ID.
He was number two son. In August
1941, the family moved to Boise. Except
for a year in White Center Heights, Washington, just before the end of WW2, the
family lived in Boise.
Lynn married Patricia McLean on May 4, 1963 in Bountiful,
Utah. Too this union a son Terance
(Terry) Dorman.
Lynn worked for Joe Williams in the State Auditor's office
when Joe got Computers to the job. It
was there that Pat first saw him.
She came from Utah and worked for Health and Welfare, she
later went back to the U of U in Salt Lake City, Utah and earned her Doctorate
Degree, and was a Professor at Boise State.
Lynn then went to work for Idaho First National Bank as an auditor, he
left town each Monday and returned on Friday, traveling all over the state of
Idaho. Upon returning on Friday, Pat
suggested he quit Idaho First National Bank, so he called his boss and
quit. He later earned a Masters Degree
in Business. He owned and operated American
Laminating on Orchard until he retired.
Pat passed away in July of 2011, Lynn and Triger miss her.
Both sets of parents preceded them in death, as well as a
brother John, for Pat, and a sister Beatrice Bernice, for Lynn.
They are survived by their son Terry, his wife Michelle, and
daughters Kyra and Lilly. Lynn's brother
Lloyd and his wife Astrid, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to be given to a favorite
charity.
