Margaret Haar Leap, 93, died April 11, 2011 in Boise, Idaho. She was born in Ogden,Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ogden. Her family later moved to the Longmont, Colorado area. She was an elementary school teacher in Frederick and Longmont. After retiring from full time teaching she retired to Arizona where she continued to substitute teach. She has lived in Boise for the past 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Haar. She is survived by her three daughters, Elli Maas of Chandler, AZ, Thea (Orley) Mitchell of Parachute, CO and Barbara (Dan) Marshall of Boise, ID; six grandchildren and eight great-grand children; a sister, Virginia Walcher of Aurora, CO and a brother Robert (Carol) Stamp of Littleton, CO. She was preceded in death by a brother Norman Stamp and sister Pauline Behrmann.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM June 25, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Longmont, Colorado.
