Marjorie E. Reimers
Marjorie E. Reimers, 78, of Eagle,
passed away peacefully Friday morning March 16, 2012 surrounded by her family.
Marge was born April 8, 1933 in
Caldwell, Idaho to Louie and Ruth Packer, and was the second eldest
daughter of four children. She graduated from Boise High School in 1951, and
met her only love Melvin Reimers. They shared a
wonderful marriage for 58 years.
Marge worked in Boise at
a telephone company for short time followed by a lengthy engagement
as a Pierce Park Elementary kindergarten teacher. She later completed her
college education and joined her family-owned real estate office. She was
hired by the Idaho Properties and became a highly
successful realtor where she was a consistent "Top Producer."
After dedicating several years to the industry, she retired in 1995. She
and her husband then spent their last years together travelling to Mexico, and
Arizona to enjoy the sun on their skin and good times with
friends.
She is survived by her husband, Mel,
and her two children Jeff Reimers and Shannon Jones. Also her sisters Alice
Anne Culver of Boise, and Mary Watson of Emmett, Idaho, and preceded in death
by Irene Victory. She has four beloved grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
Marge was a wonderful wife, mother,
grandmother, and friend.
A funeral service will be held on
Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 12 noon, at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise,
with burial following at Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise.
