Mark William Miller, 58, passed away on October 7, 2015.
Although the particular cause of death was unknown, we do know he contracted an
infection that affected his entire body and fought it at the St. Alphonsus
Hospital until the very end. Mark was born on October 22, 1956 in Boise, the
son of William and Helen Miller. He spent a part of his early life in Portland
and part in California. Eventually, he settled back down in Boise to raise his
family.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Miller, the mother of
his children, Diann DiMaggio, his four children, Alexandria Miller, Samantha
Miller, Jordan Justesen, and Cody Justesen, granddaughter, Charlie Justesen,
and granddog, Java Bean.
Mark graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1975 and
attended Portland State University after. He worked in the investment industry
as a stock-broker for several years.
Later in his life he discovered a passion for finish carpentry,
following in his father and grandfather’s footsteps. He spent the rest of his
life in carpentry and contracting, working to further the success of his
company, Millerwerks.
In his spare time, he loved working on cars, building
things, working on projects around the house, and shared a love of gardening
with his wife. Above all else, he had a fierce love for his children. He
consistently shared his wisdom, laughs, and love. He was a dedicated grandpa,
friend, husband, and father. He warmed the hearts of all the lives he touched
and his monstrous hugs will surely be missed.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday October 11,
2015 at Bishop Kelly High School in the Carley Center at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers, it would be greatly appreciated that
donations be made to an account set up for Alex and Sami Miller’s educational
expenses. The account is at independent Bank at 401 Front St., Boise ID, 83702.
