At the age of 17, Martin moved with his parents to Peace River Alberta, Canada where he finished high school. From the age of 8 on, Marty dreamed of flying. He read all the Private Pilot magazines that he could get a hold of. After graduation, in Peace River he got his Private Pilot license at the local airport. This was a highlight of Marty‘s life.
