Marylin Lusk,
born on February 22, 1930 in Malad, Idaho, passed away on December 11, 2012 in
Boise, Idaho at the age of 82.
She grew up in
Malad and graduated from Malad High School.
Marylin was married to Earl Ferrell Lusk, also of Malad. They were married in Elko, Nevada on August
16, 1952. Marylin worked for Mtn. Bell
in Malad and then for Makaha Skateboard Mfg. and UCLA Medical Center in Los
Angeles, CA. Earl and Marylin moved to
Boise where Earl worked for the State Tax Commission. He passed away on July 22, 2005. Marylin remained active with family and
friends. She especially enjoyed her
friends in the sewing club, taking care of her home, cooking, and going to
lunch with her family and friends. She loved her neighbors who watched over her
and at anytime lent a helping hand.
Marylin is
survived by her son, Jeff Lusk and his wife, Susan; granddaughters, Jennifer (Brad
Ward), Danielle Lusk, and Janelle Anderson;
great-grandson, Jeffery; and
brother, Bill Anderson. All of her family
members were the light and love of her life.
In addition to her husband Earl, she was preceded in death by her
parents, Maude and John William Anderson, four brothers and two sisters.
Memorial services
will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Alden-Waggoner
Funeral Chapel, Boise.
The family would
like to thank the staff at Paramount Park and Hearts for Hospice for the love
and care they provided Marylin during the past month.
