It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Matthew Allen David Jacobson on February 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on July 1, 1988, to Chad and Debbie Jacobson, Matthew was the cherished first grandchild on his mother's side, instantly bringing joy and excitement to all who knew him.
Throughout his childhood, Matthew filled his days with adventure, creating unforgettable memories alongside his parents, grandparents, and family. His spirit thrived in the great outdoors; he had a profound love for hunting and fishing, relishing every moment spent immersed in nature.
At the time of his passing, he was building a life with his girlfriend, Stacy, and embraced her two children, Caleb and Cyann, as his own, who he taught so many things to and grew their love of the outdoors. Matthew's bond with his dogs, particularly with his beloved Remi, brought him endless joy and companionship. Matthew leaves behind his devoted parents, Chad Jacobson and Debbie Sexton, his loving brother Tyler Jacobson, and his beloved grandparents, David and Betty Sexton. He is also mourned by his Aunt Kris (Paul) Cordova, Uncle Dave (Kelly) Sexton, cousins Jake, Cody, Sawyer and Mason who will forever hold on to their fond memories of him. Along with countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, Matthew touched many lives, and his legacy will continue to resonate through those he left behind. As they navigate this difficult time, they find comfort in the cherished memories and the laughter he brought into their lives.
Though he is no longer with us, Matthew's radiant spirit and the love he shared will forever remain in our hearts. He will be deeply missed, and his absence will leave a void that words cannot capture.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support and generous contributions during Matt's battle. Your kindness and compassion have meant the world to us during this challenging time. Thank you for being there for us.
