Michael Edward Korsmeyer
Michael Edward Korsmeyer, 69, of Boise died on February 22,
2017 in his home.
Michael was born October 19, 1947 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
to Doris (Netherland) and Henry G. Korsmeyer. The family later moved to Boise
and Michael graduated from Borah High School.
He married Linda M. Korsmeyer on February 12, 1987 in Boise,
Idaho.
Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, and spending
time with family. He also enjoyed NASCAR and football. He was also a member of
a Lutheran church. Michael was an inspector with TIR Inspections and Embrige.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and
aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his son Michael Ray Korsmeyer (Ruth
Justine Matteson); grandchildren, Kelsie Ann Korsmeyer, Zachery Ray Korsmeyer,
Sheea C. Emerson, Shey L. Emerson; great-grandchildren, Linda M. Korsmeyer,
Liam E. Korsmeyer, Alex F. Morris-Emerson, and Phoenix R. Morris-Emerson.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 11,
2017 at Pioneer Cemetery, 68 Pioneer Rd., Horseshoe Bend, Idaho.
