Michael G. Wood

Michael Glen Wood passed away August 7 ^th at the age of 74 at his home in Boise, ID after a short but aggressive battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Barbara Wood, two sons Matthew and Bartholomew; and grandchildren Makayla, Marissa, Gabrielle, Michael, Madison, Mason, Justin, Braden.

After high school, he married and left to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. Upon his return, he completed his education at Washington State University and went on to have a successful career as an agronomist that included several awards and industry recognitions. However, his greatest achievement was his marriage of over 50 years, being a wonderful father and the meaningful relationships that were forged over the years.

He was dedicated to his work, family and God. Spending time with his family always brought joy and love to his heart. He would always be the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. You could always count on him to be at church every Sunday.
