Mildred “Millie” Witt
Mildred “Millie” Witt, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016, in Boise. She was born April 4, 1921, to Nicholas and Hazel Gervinka in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada—the youngest of ten children. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her son, Richard (Carol) Witt of Boise, her daughter, Patricia Witt Ahrens of Boise and her son, Ronald (Loreen) Witt of Pittsburgh, PA., eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Millie dearly loved her family and cared deeply for her friends. She was beautiful, strong, brave, faithful, generous and funny. She will be profoundly missed and always remembered.
A graveside service, under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, will be held at Morris Hill Cemetery on Monday, July 11th at 10:00 AM.
The family requests no flowers. Instead, be kind to one another and “shower the ones you love with love.”
