Miriam Edwards was born in Toledo, Ohio. She was the daughter of Adolf and Florence Steinmiller of German descent (of which she was proud). She was the youngest of two other siblings Bernell and Vera, both deceased. She graduated from Clay High School and worked in Libby Owens Ford until her marriage to Darwin Elmer Edwards on December 27, 1946. On the family farms near Custer and Findlay, they raised four children: Darlene, Muriel, David, and Jonathan. Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, son David, and daughter Muriel. She is survived by her daughter Darlene of Taiwan, her son Jonathan of Texas, and grandson Johnny. Miriam came to know Jesus as her Savior in her early 30’s and always remained true to Him. She was a blessing to everyone. Special gratitude goes to Sherri and Mike Arey, who were her caregivers for almost eleven years. She loved them, their family, and their dog Bentley. Heaven has received a real jewel.
