Clinton “Clint” Smith, 48, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at his home in Boise.

Clint was born March 6, 1964 in Emmett, Idaho.   He graduated from Capital High School in 1982.  Clint and his wife Karen married March 5, 1983.  Clint spent his entire career in the United States Air Force and retired after 22 years of service in 2005.  Clint was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave., Boise. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors by the United States Air Force

Clint is survived by his wife, Karen Smith, daughter, Arynn  (Pete) Gomez , son, Mitchel  Smith,  grandchildren, Connor, Gabriella and David Gomez, mother, Anita Tuttle, brothers, Dan Smith and Ian Biggs, sister Renae Greene, mother-in-law Eldeane Keeler and two sisters-in-law, Kim Echevarria and Mary Jane Keeler. He is also survived by numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Elden Smith and father-in-law, David Keeler.
