Nadine Williamson

Nadine Williamson, 91, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 in a local care center.

Nadine was born in Buhl, Idaho on July 4, 1931 to Lena and Leonard Madsen. She was the youngest of three children.

Nadine attended schools in Soda Springs, Idaho, graduating from high school in 1949. She then attended Henegar School of Business in Salt Lake City, Utah before moving to Gooding, Idaho.

It was in Gooding that she met the love of her life, John Williamson. They were married in 1953 and moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. In 1958, Nadine and John joyfully welcomed Lorie, their only child, into the world. The family moved to Boise in 1964.

Nadine spent many years working primarily in Federal Government offices. She retired from the Bureau of Reclamation in 2001.

Nadine was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Besides the birth of her daughter, the highlight of her life has been her two granddaughters, Savanna and Jordan which she loved with all her heart.

Nadine was preceded in death by her loving husband John, her parents, her brother Jack and his wife Delores, brother Robert and his wife Gwen, niece Kim Stevenson (Madsen) and nephew Ted Madsen.

She is survived by her daughter Lorie and son-in-law David Estey – Boise; grandchildren, Savanna Rothe (Estey) and husband David – Spokane, WA, and Jordan Estey and fiancé Damien Dennis – Boise; nieces, Lisa Madsen and family – Lake Elsinore, CA, Cindy Lepley (Madsen) and family – Palm Springs, CA, Isla Nelson (Stevenson) and family – Boise; nephews Sean Stevenson and family – Nampa, Josh Madsen and family – Filer, ID and Levi Madsen – Gooding, ID.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18, at 2 p.m. at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.
