was three years old resulted in a move to Twin Falls

Henderson

Nevada to the first stepfather situation

Twin Falls

then to Tullahoma
,
Tennessee
,
then Twin Falls,
and then to a farm about halfway between Ganne
t
t and Picabo
,
Idaho to a
second stepfather situatio

.
She attended school in Bellevue,
Idaho from the th

rd grade through the eighth grade
.

Seattle

the ten

h grade at Bellevue

daho and

h and twelfth

e at Montrose

Colorado, where
she graduated f

igh school

After high school graduation s

Idaho

Business College and went to work for Boise-Payette (later Boise Cascade)

She was
enthusiastic about her job and did a lo

of work
. In

ration at BSU
.

17 years.
Norma had a good sense of humor
and
was gene

s and good
hearted. She would g

ve people money to help them o

t even when it
made he

short of money
.
She took her s

ster Mary in when
she cou

dn't live at home with her husband and
children
anymore.
Later she also took in an older woman
who couldn
'
t live by herself.
About 1975 she found out she had multiple sclerosis.
She was able

o drive and get arou

d for many
years, but when the disease finally took hold, she d

n, she just
dealt w

th it the best she could and remained posi

ve
.

glioma (tumo

n her brain
.
September 13th
the glioma was removed.
I
t was a grade 4 which is the worst
kind
.
Gliomas can be slowed, but not stopped
.
She was treated with radiation, and another
MRI showed that the tumor was coming back
.
Since the radiation had caused her
problems
.
there was no more that could be done
.
She remained

Norma never married. She was preceded
