O. "Greg"
Gregory, 84, of Boise, died Friday, July 18, 2014 in a Boise hospital.
Graveside services
with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, at the
Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa. Pastor
Charles Spiedel, Chaplain at Good Samaritan Society, Boise Village, will
officiate. Services are under the direction of the Alden-Waggoner Funeral
Chapel.
Greg was born March
12, 1930 in Nampa, Idaho, the son of
William R. and Bertha C Williamson Gregory.
He grew up in Nampa and graduated from Nampa High School. Greg then joined the U.S. Navy serving as a
Navy Corpsman. He was a decorated Korean
War veteran who was proud to have served his country. He was proud to have served his country and
he received a Purple Heart for injuries suffered in combat.
Greg loved life,
dogs, telling jokes and TV. He also
loved Fords of any kind. He was a past member of the Nampa Chapter of the VFW.
He is survived by a
brother-in-law, Kenneth Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, a
sister and three brothers.
His family suggests
