Pan spent her active life mostly in the Boise area graduating from Meridian High School in 1934 and Boise Business University in 1935 with degrees in accounting and business.

She married Rulon E. Larsen in 1938 who joined the U.S. Navy and served until 1943. Upon returning to Boise they made their home in the Mountain View area where they raised their daughter Tonja Beth. They were devoted members of the First United Methodist Church. Pan was an active member of the Merry Tillers Garden Club and the Idaho Botanical Garden as well as many local volunteer organizations. After 59 years of marriage Rulon passed away in 1998.

Pan passed quietly from heart failure surrounded by her daughter Tonja Severns and husband Brian from Portland, Oregon; along with niece Tamara Stalker Albrecht and husband Richard from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Ann Marie Vollmer and husband Joe, Jeanne Doering and husband Jim of Boise. She also had a number of grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church, Cathedral of the Rockies, Boise, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 8 th , 2011 at Meridian Cemetery located at 895 East Franklin in Meridian, Idaho.
