Paula Jeanne Lampe

September 10, 1949 — March 6, 2025

Yuma, Arizona

Paula Jeanne Lampe, 75, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025 in Yuma, Arizona.

Paula was born on September 10, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and shortly after, was adopted by her parents, Newell Morgan and Anna Rose (Cothrell) Morgan.

Paula graduated from Boise High School and continued her education at the University of Idaho. She later worked for DirectTV.

On June 15, 1968, she married Donald (Gene) Lampe, Sr. at the First Christian Church in Boise, Idaho. Together they shared a beautiful life filled with love until Gene's passing in 2019.

Paula loved her community at her retirement home in Yuma, AZ. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, traveling, and going on day trips to San Diego, Phoenix, and Palm Springs. She loved talking to her friends, reading, and shopping. Paula enjoyed going to Church. She went on numerous cruises throughout her retirement and went on many cruises with her husband, Gene, prior to his passing. Paula loved spending time with family and went on yearly vacations with Kristi (daughter) and Connor (grandson). Paula had a special bond with her pup, Chloe, and took Chloe everywhere she went (if allowed).

Family was very important to Paula and she worked hard to maintain relationships with her family even though she lived out of state.

She is survived by her 2 children, Donald (Gene) Lampe, Jr. (son) of Boise, and Kristina Lampe (daughter) of Meridian, her 3 grandchildren - Robbie Lampe (wife Avery), Sydney (Lampe) Taylor (husband Matt), (Gene’s kids) and Connor Lampe (Kristi’s son), and 2 great grandchildren, Easton and Lyla Lampe (Robbie’s children).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Newell and Anna Rose Morgan, and her husband, Donald (Gene) Lampe, Sr.

As we remember Paula, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep devotion to family and friends. Her warmth and spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy will live on through the memories she created with those she held dear.
