Phyllis Elaine Boyd, 91, of
Boise, Idaho died Tuesday, January 1, 2013, in Meridian, ID of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held
at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral
Chapel. Private burial will be At
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, Idaho
Phyllis was born on January
11, 1921 in Hagerman, Idaho, the daughter of Beatrice L. Drake and Cecil B.
Gilmore. She graduated from Wendell High
School in 1939 and then attended Boise Business College.
In 1942, Phyllis married
Stanton J. Boyd in Boise, Idaho. They
lived in various places in Idaho including Cascade and Caldwell. Following Stan’s death she then moved to
Boise in 1974. While in Caldwell,
Phyllis worked for D&B Supply and for Morrison-Knudsen in Boise, retiring
from MK in 1986.
Survivors include her
children, Joe and Sharon Boyd, Meridian, ID, Ron and Carol Boyd, Twin Falls,
ID, Robert Boyd, Boise, and Julie Layne, Cascade; grandchildren, Robb Boyd, Meridian, Lisa
Boyd, Caldwell, Cole Boyd, Boise, Lindsey Boyd, Boise, Jennifer and Ben Hu,
Chandler, AZ, Riley and Crystal Boyd, Twin Falls, ID, Summer and Chad Fletcher,
Gilbert, AZ, Brian Huckabee, Meridian, ID and Pam Goehring, Boise, ID; and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband and two grandchildren, Roger and Ricky Huckabee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
are suggested to your charity of choice.
