Phyllis Jane Castle was born July 7, 1931 to Lena
McCoy Castle and Samuel Gerry Castle.
She had five brothers and three sisters.
She lived on her parents ranch near Picabo, until moving to a new log
home her dad built on a ranch that his parents homesteaded. She married Donnie Dee Baldwin November 4,
1949. They lived on Baldwin Bros. ranch
until moving to their ranch north of Picabo, then later to Eagle, Idaho. They had 3 children, Dennis Craig, Lana
(Granden) and Shauna (Eells). Don passed
away in 1984. She married Roger Sevy
February 12, 1989. They lived near
Marsing where Roger passed away December 30, 1989. On September 27, 1991 Phyllis married Junior
Porter. They lived near Caldwell, then
Eagle. He passed away December 18, 2006.
Survivors include her children, Lana (Lyle) of
Gannett, Dennis of Gannett and all of her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lorene Arambarri, and Ruth Browning both of
Boise.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, five
brothers, one sister, one daughter, and her husbands.
