Ramona Anderton, a long-time resident of Boise, passed away on Sunday, October 30th surrounded by her loving family. Ramona was born on February 25, 1929 in Circleville, UT, the daughter of Frank and Louise Weaver. Ramona married Thomas Anderton on May 14, 1945. They moved to Boise in 1953 where they raised four children, which she would tell you was her life’s greatest accomplishment.
Ramona loved country music, dancing, card games, boating and camping with friends and family. However, her greatest joy was simply spending time with family. What was her favorite job in life…being a Gram.
She is survived by her 4 children, Lewis Anderton (Billy), Cheryl Charlton (David), Linda Chatburn (David), Gale Anderton (Darlene), 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister and brother.
Ramona was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
We love you, Mom and Grandma. Go climb that mountain!
