Denney, Raymond “Butch”, 75, of Eagle
passed away Tuesday, June 25

Butch was born in Orange, California
April 30, 1944 to Charles Raymond and Kerma Denney. He attended schools in
Nampa and Aberdeen Idaho, graduated from Boise State in 1972.
Butch married Ida M. Clark September 11,
1965. Butch served 2 years of active duty in the Army, serving 13 months in
Korea.
He enjoyed his time in Korea and enjoyed
the food and culture of the country.
After getting out of the Army he worked
different jobs then decided to go to Boise State to get a degree for Auto Body
repairman. He did body work for 26 years at the Idaho Transportation
Department.
Butch also served 26 years
in the Idaho Army National Guard.
He
often referred to his time in the guard as the best time of his life.
Butch loved hunting with his
brother-in-law Marvin and nephew Ron.
Going over to Illwaco, Washington with his wife Ida to go salmon fishing
was one of the highlights of his summers for 30 years. Butch loved working in
his garden, doing lawn work and was always busy, he just could not sit still.
Butch is survived by his wife Ida,
sister Lorraine Jones (Marvin) of Richfield, Idaho and numerous nieces and
nephews.
He was Preceded in Death by his
parents, sister Rayola Wilson, and brother Elwin Charles Denney.
