Richard Jackson Kindall, 77 went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 20, 2021. Richard was born on January 6, 1944 in Nampa, Idaho to Eileene Eldora Kindall & Henry Jackson Kindall. He was raised & schooled in Middleton, Idaho. During his childhood, Richard loved playing baseball & basketball. He also enjoyed being outdoors & spent time bird hunting & fishing with his dad & brothers. Richard graduated from Middleton High School in 1962. He attended Boise State where he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in 1969. Richard spent six years in the Idaho Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in December 1974.

Richard married the love of his life Dorothy Caldwell on March 10, 1972. Richard & Dorothy had their first child, a daughter Shera, May 4 th , 1974. On March 7th, 1979, their son Ryan was born.

During his working career, Richard spent 18 years selling Real Estate, owning his own brokerage during part of that time. After leaving real estate, he went to work for the Boise School District in their Special Education Dept. He retired in 2009.

Richard was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2009 & battled the disease for almost 12 years before passing away at home in 2021.

Richard is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Dorothy, his daughter Shera, and his son Ryan. He is also survived by four siblings: LaVon (Letha) in Bothell, WA, Carol Oswald in Caldwell, ID, Mary Stagg in St. Peter, MN, and Conley (Rowena) in McCall, ID, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eileene Kindall, two brothers-in-law: Clyde Oswald and Richard Stagg, and one nephew Zeb Oswald.

Richard’s family would like to thank Dr. Travis Williams and the staff at St Luke’s Cancer Institute for their care. We would also like to thank the St. Luke’s Wound Clinic’s doctors & staff. Finally, we would like to thank St. Luke’s Hospice Care & their staff for the home care provided to Richard.
