Richard "Rick" Dean Tucker

Richard Dean Tucker, "Rick" 48 of Meridian died Wednesday, June 20, 2018.

Richard was born June 9, 1970 in Bellflower, California. He was the son of Larry and Karen Waddington Tucker. His early years were spent in Southern California where he grew up with siblings LeeAnn and Mark Tucker. He graduated from Palmdale High School in 1988. In 2008 Richard graduated from A.V.C.

On December 10, 1994, Richard married Randee E. Escue in Littlerock, CA. They married in the same church that they first met in 1983 as children. Richard lived in the high desert of California before moving to Idaho with his family. He loved the nature and parks here in Boise (especially the GreenBelt). He worked as a Master mechanic at many car dealerships. He was a mentor to his coworkers. He also taught mechanics at A.V.C.
His hobbies included riding dirt bikes in Cal City California, and racing his Mustang in the quarter-mile. Playing the guitar, which he played so well. It was mesmerizing to watch him play. He loved spending time with family. He would take his boat out and go fishing with his sons every chance he got. All hobbies he had proudly passed down to his children and grandchildren. He was a baptized Christian and had currently been attending Ten Mile Christian Church. He enjoyed Christian music and watching Paul Begley on You-Tube. Rick and his wife loved 80's movies, so much so they could have full conversations using only movie quotes. He wrote her a love note everyday, without fail. Truly a love to inspire.
Survivors include his wife, Randee Tucker; children, Shalee and Taylor Western, Ashlynn and Caleb Orton, Elizabeth and Rigo Torres, James and Lauren Tucker, and Justin and Lacey Tucker; grandchildren, Travis, Riley, Zaylee, Kodah, Talos, MariFe, Jackson, and Chloe; Parents, Larry and Karen Tucker and his siblings, LeeAnn and Dan Burdick, and Mark Tucker. Preceded in death by Tuffy Tucker.
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
