Bob was
born to Albert and Anna Wells on Novemb
e
r 26, 1925 in Boise Idaho. The new family moved into their home
in South Boise when Bob was six weeks old. Bob left the Leadville house in
November 2010 after 86 y
e
ars to live at The Cottages in Emmett, Idaho after the onset of
dementia. Bob was a fourth generation Idahoan with the first generation
starting in Emmett, Idaho. Bob made the full family circle back to Emmett. Bob
went to Garfield
,
Boise Junior High, Boise High School and Links School of
Business. He graduated a semester early from high school in 19
4
3 to join the US
Army Air Corp
.
WWII ended while he was a cadet in Tucson, Arizona. While in
Tucson he met and married Jean L. Dietz in September 1945. Bob also served in
the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict at a field in Spokane, Washington.
Bob
worked at Graham-Petrie, a hardware company, Ada County Sheriffs Office,
Campbell Soup Company, again Ada County Sheriffs Office and Retired from Ada
County Clerk and Recorders Office. His retirement job was Blue Steel Gun
refurbishing, a true labor of love. Bob worked as an auxiliary officer to the
Garden City Police Dept. and the Boise County Sheriffs office.

The Scottish Rite and The El Korah Shrine of Boise. Bob was a
charter member of the Ada County Aerial Sheriffs in the
'
50s and '60s. Also,
he was a Life Member of the Idaho Peace Officers Associ

will be under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, December 3, at
11:00 AM. Contributions may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children's
Hospitals, c/o El Korah Shrine, Boise, Idaho.
