Bob was born in Oakland, California, August 12th,
1944 to Herman Weber and June Craft.
He attended schools in the area, graduating from
Oakland Technical High in 1962.
Bob was stationed in Germany for two years while serving
in the Army.
After leaving the Army, he moved to Lake Tahoe in
1968. This is where he met his wife, Bonnie, who was vacationing from Boise.
They were married two weeks later.
Bob worked in the Cable TV industry for 18 years. As
a lineman in Lake Tahoe, then managing the cable office in Carson City, Walla
Walla, and as a District manager in Lewiston.
In 1987, Bob and Bonnie moved to Boise with their
two sons. Bob then went to work for Hewlett Packard where he retired in 2006.
Bob had a great personality, loved to laugh and have
a good time, and enjoy a few beers with friends. He enjoyed fishing, riding his
ATV, camping, playing pool, trap shooting, building birdhouses, and going south
in the winter.
Sitting in the sun and
reading a good book was a favorite also.
Bob and Bonnie enjoyed many gambling trips with good
friends Dave and Erika Smith.
Bob was great with the computer and all electronics.
He was always willing to help out anyone.
He belonged to the Elks Lodge for 35 years, and
Eagles Lodge for 24 years. Bob made friends where ever he went.
Bob will always be my one and only true love. (47
years)
