Bob, 83, passed away at home on January 27, 2019. Bob was born on June 16, 1935 in Boise, Idaho to Sam and Inez Cooper. He married Joan Bailey on November 22, 1956, were married for 62 years, and raised three children.
Bob started driving logging trucks at fifteen years of age, and continued hauling everything from explosives to potatoes.
Throughout his lifetime, he achieved over 4 million miles accident free. His handle was “Super Coop”.
He loved the mountains and enjoyed mining, hunting, camping, and especially fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife Joan, his son Doug (Connie) Cooper, his daughter Rhonda (Mike) Key, daughter Sheri (David) Earl, his grandkids Shaun, Kendra, Nicole, Keira, Michael, and Madison, his great-grandkids Kaelynn, Paisley, and Emmett, his sister Carolyn, and his dog “Wally”.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Raymond and Jude.
A committal service will be held on January 31st at 2 P.M. at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
