Rod's Story
Rod A. Day was born Dec. 4, 1931 to Helen and Mel Day in
Boise, ID. He passed away peacefully at home, Tues., Feb. 17, 2015. Rod is
survived by his wife, Grace, of 63 years; daughters and spouses; Michelle and
Rick Routledge; Cynthia and Steve Ray; Kelley and Toby Gamel; Tyra Sims.
Grandkids: Heather, Chelsi, Tyler, Taige, Tia, Gracey, Jake. Great Grandkids:
Mailee, Jabrel, Madeline.
Rod served in the 190th Air Guard in 1951. He was a Realtor
and broker at Mel Day Realtors. His
passion was his grandkids and working in his yard.
There will be a service at 2:00pm at the Idaho State
Veterans Cemetery on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015.
