Ronald Frank Sparks, age 71, of Eagle Idaho, passed
away of natural causes on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at his longtime home.
Born October 3, 1945 in the Treasure Valley of
Idaho.
Ron grew up, went to school in the Meridian and
Boise area before graduating from Meridian High School, and then from Boise
Junior College.
He grew up on his dad's farm, worked for his dad's
demolition company and was instrumental in the renovation of the downtown area
of Boise. Ron had a natural ability as an electrician and studied heating and
cooling as well. He continued his trade in the military as a radio
communications officer on an aircraft carrier in the Navy and later, as a
business owner.
Ron Sparks was a caring and loving husband as well
as father and friend. He is survived by his two sons and their wives, Eddy
& Geedes Sparks; Matthew & Tori Sparks; his grandchildren Amanda and
Quentin Sparks; his great-granddaughter Olivia Sparks. Ron is also survived by
his middle brother, Dale Sparks.
Ron is now rejoined with his beloved, beautiful
bride, Carol.
He will be missed dearly, and always remembered.
A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday,
October 16, 2016 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
Please arrive at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. so
the military honors will start promptly at 2:00 p.m.
