restoring old cars and motorcycles. He

showing his classic Model A. Later he

several of his 1960’s vintage Mustangs.
He also enjoyed his prized Harley Davidson motorcycles and was called “Grandpa
Harley” by many of his grandkids.
He had a deep affection for the outdoors in Idaho where he
could be found fishing, hunting and riding ATV’s. One of his passions was collecting Mobil Oil
gas station antiques and displaying his collection for family and friends. He was active in the BLM archeology club in
Yuma where he and Dorothy discovered an archeology site that is named the
“Wilke Site”.
