Roxanne (Roxie) Tibbets, 57, of Boise, died Friday, December 3, 2021 in a Boise hospital.
Roxie was born April 29, 1964 in Burley, Idaho, the middle child of Gene and Darlene Jacobsen Weber.
She grew up in Burley, graduating from Burley High School. She later attended Links School of Business where she attained an Associates degree.
On November 11, 1989 Roxie married Steve Tibbets at the Burley United Methodist Church. They have lived in Boise since that time.
Roxanne worked for many years at US Bank. While there she enjoyed participating in community projects by volunteering with “Paint the Town” and the Idaho Food Bank. She was a past member of the Burley United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with family. She and Steve would spend time together, camping, bike riding, shopping and doing yard work.
Roxanne is survived by her husband, Steve Tibbets of Boise; her sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Chuck Gransbury of Kimberly, ID; and her brother and sister-in-law, DeVon and Sara Weber of Filer, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Darlene Weber; her parental grandparents, Henry and Emma Weber; and her maternal grandparents, Richard and Elsie Jacobsen.
Her family suggests memorials be made to the Burley United Methodist Church, 450 E 27th St, Burley, ID 83318.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise. Burial will follow at Morris Hill Cemetery. There will be a viewing starting at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday before the service.
