Sharon Louise Baker 1940-2017
Sharon Louise Baker, age 77, resident of Boise, Idaho passed
away at her home on December 23, 2017. She was born on February 27, 1940 in
Boise, Idaho to Arthur and Elsie Johnsmeyer. She took her career in the
financial industry very seriously until her retirement in 2009 from Amresco.
After retirement, she put her heart and soul into the love and care of her
family. Her love and care extended to the community, where she volunteered at
Corpus Christi House, serving those in need, as well as for the Idaho Police
Department, as a general hand in fundraisers and local events. She was crafty
and enjoyed socializing with her friends through a quilting club and a
Foothills Christian Bible study group, a church where she recently found a home
away from home. Sharon was a very generous, loving, and caring woman. She will
be sadly missed by her sons Scott, Bryan, and Darin, her grandchildren Craig
and Shantyl, and Ashley Baker, her sister-in-law Julie Johnsmeyer, and her
cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sharon was predeceased by her parents and her
brother Richard Johnsmeyer. Sharon’s memorial service will be held on Saturday,
December 30
th
, 2017 at 10 AM at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel 5400
W. Fairview Avenue, Boise, Idaho 83706. Memorial donations may be made to
Corpus Christi House or Foothills Christian Church Food Pantry and Clothes
Closet.
