Taylor Royce Wood, 23, passed into the Lord’s hands Saturday
July 20
th
, 2013 in a swimming accident on the Boise River. Taylor,
born on September 27, 1989 to his proud parents Gary and Carla Wood, was
recently married on June 22
nd
, 2013 to his beautiful bride Michelle
True. Taylor is also survived by siblings Shawn Wood, Andrew Wood, Bethany
Wood; sister in-law Angela Wood; niece Josephine Wood; grandparents, and
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Taylor had not only a love but a passion for his friends and
family. They were everything to him. Wherever he would go Taylor would be the
life of the party. Whether it was at work at Heritage Auto, outdoors camping or
fishing, playing drums, or singing, Taylor was having fun! His smile and sense
of humor were infectious. You couldn’t help but have a smile on your face while
Taylor was around. Needless to say he had a large circle of friends that loved
to be around him. As a result that meant crowds of Taylor’s friends invading
the house for a backyard swim or campfire!
The only thing Taylor loved more than his family and friends
was Jesus. His life was an example of what it meant to have Christ as the
center. He lived a life of serving and
being a blessing to everyone he met. Taylor was always looking for a way to
help someone. At school he didn’t want anyone to feel left out so he would go
out of his way to include everyone. Taylor was always more interested in what
others needed than what he needed. Taylor graduated in 2009 from Cole Valley
Christian School, where he met the love of his life, Michelle True.
Taylor’s greatest treasure was his beautiful bride Michelle.
While Taylor was always happy, you could tell by watching him how much pure joy
his new bride and best friend Michelle brought him. He adored and loved
Michelle with all his heart and would do anything for her. Being married to
Michelle was the happiest time of his life.
Taylor, we miss you and will never forget the joy and
blessings you brought to everyone. We love you Tay!
