Vicky quietly stepped in Heaven's doors
early Sunday Aug 15th with loved ones by her side. The morning before was spent
with her family surrounding her with love.
Vicky was born November 10, 1955, in
Twin Falls Idaho to Bertha and Stanley R VanBuren. Her childhood was spent
growing up in the same house in Twin Falls. She is a graduate of Twin
Falls High School class of 1974. Other than a short time in Albuquerque,
New Mexico, she lived her whole life in the Kimberly, Idaho area. Vicky married
her life partner, Dale McFarland, December 16, 1978. They raised 2 children,
Travis and Callie. Her 4 grandchildren were her treasures in life.
Even though Ameripride Linen had many
names through the years, for almost 40 years Vicky was a constant. She
retired in 2014.
Vicky will always be remembered for the
many gifts she handmade for her family and friends. When
remembering Vicky, you can't help but think of her ever changing
extravagantly designed fingernails. And of course, if you ever visited her
home, you could not miss her massive collection of Dream Cycles. They were
always a topic of conversation and she loved showing off her newest. In
recent years, she enjoyed getting to know people from across the
world through online games, many of which became very dear to her.
However, her favorite pastime was being with her kids, grandkids, and
family, encouraging and celebrating their successes.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, one brother, Stanley G VanBuren, one Nephew, Kevin Perry and her
loving Parents-in-law, Lynn and Eileen (Pudge) McFarland.
Surviving Vicky is her Husband
Dale McFarland, children Callie McFarland, Travis McFarland and wife Jaquelynn
Hunter, Grandkids Jayda McFarland, Domnick McFarland, Kaetlyn Hunter and Landon
McFarland, Siblings Judy Laurvick, Gary Vanburen, Sharon Kessler and
husband Karl Kessler, 9 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and
nephews.
