Virginia L. Fleming, age 76, died peacefully on May 28, 2016 at her home in Boise, ID. Virginia was born April 8, 1940 in Sunnyside, WA, the daughter of Vertchal and Mary Brooks. She spent her childhood and young adult years in the beautiful Yakima Valley. She later moved to western Washington and in 1963 Virginia married the love of her life, William Fleming, in Seattle. Together they raised four children; two sons and two daughters, and she was also the proud grandmother of two granddaughters and three grandsons. She and her family moved from Seattle to Boise in 1984. Virginia pursued a career in both legal and medical administration over the years and was often recognized for her professional ambition and high level of performance by her peers and employers.  Virginia was a member of Ten Mile Christian Church in Meridian, ID. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed trips to Waikiki Beach, the Oregon coast, Seattle and the Yakima Valley. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Virginia is survived by her husband William Fleming of Boise, her children Theresa Lindauer (Damien) of Seattle, Michael Fleming (Jana) of Meridian, Kelley Fleming of Boise, Scott Fleming of Meridian, two granddaughters, three grandsons, and a number of relatives and close friends. A private graveside service for immediate family will be held in Meridian. Memorial donations can be sent to Ten Mile Christian Church, Meridian, ID attn: Benevolence Fund.
