Wade was born on Sept. 8th, 1958, in Nampa. Idaho to Clyde and Christine Porter.
He grew up in Idaho, Montana, California, and back to Idaho since Clyde worked on Hydroelectric Dams. The last being Dworshak Dam where he had lived in Orofino for seven years and he was not happy to move to Boise. He soon made a lot of new friends and there are some of them are here today.
Wade went to South Jr High and graduated from Borah High School in 1976. He always enjoyed school and had good grades and many friends. He went to B.S.U. for a year but quit to go to work with his Dad who was starting Porter's Land Surveying. They were in business for many years, closing in 2008 or there abouts.
Wade suffered a massive heart attack in 2017 and was doing pretty well. He enjoyed walking and talking with his dad to try and get some of his strength back. After his dad's passing in January 2018 he didn't do much after that. His health slowly began to fail, being who he was he didn't tell many folks how he was really doing. That was how he was.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Clyde and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Chris, sister Jeanette and many dear friends and family. He will be missed by many people.
