Walter John Zawadzki

Walter Zawadzki passed away in Boise, Idaho on December 7, 2024. He was born in Detroit on May 14, 1931.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mae, son Walter Jr., grandsons Nick Zawadzki and Chad Baldwin, and son-in-law Buck (Donald) Betz.

He leaves behind his children- Dave (ID), Sharon Barnsdale (Larry) (FL), Susan Emery (Dave) (FL), Nancy Kriss (Matt) (NC), Karen Betz (MI), Laura Baldwin (MI), Jeff (TX), and Anne-Marie (MX), daughter-in-law Karen (Walter Jr.-deceased) (MI), along with many grand and great-grandchildren.

Walter was a Veteran, having served in the Air Force. He retired in 1992 as a Powerhouse Engineer at the Ford Monroe, MI facility.

Services are to be held by Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery at 1pm (mst) in Boise, Idaho with the Air Force doing military honors. Walter and Mae (deceased Jan 6, 2024) will be buried together.
