Willa Bess Ashley, 90, of Garden City, Idaho, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held
at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral
Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Sunday, Feb. 16th from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. There will be a private burial at Dry Creek
Cemetery.
Willa was born and raised in
Idaho. She was a hard worker and kept
her surroundings in pristine order. She
worked as a film developer and telephone operator. She also had various other odd jobs until she
and her husband, John, opened their business repairing trailers and mobile
homes. Willa managed their office and
helped John as needed. She painted in
oils and ceramic painting and made lovely gifts for her family.
Survivors include one
granddaughter, Shawna; three great
grandchildren, Alyssa, Shane and Katie;
her brother, Fred (wife Beverly) White; and daughter-in-law, Alma S.
Ashley. She was preceded in death by her
husband, John Ashley and a son, John (Dan) Ashley.
The family would like to
thank Legacy Hospice and the Medicare nurses for the loving and attentive care
shown to Willa.
