William (Bill) Wallace, son of James Franklin Wallace and
Charlotte Elizabeth Beach, was born in Broadbent, Oregon on June 11, 1930 and
died January 20, 2015 in Nampa, Idaho of natural causes. He was 84. He attended

grades, graduating
Salutatorian from Vale H.S. in 1948.
He
started his military career in the USAF in 1948 and retired from the Idaho Air
National Guard in 1988.
He served his
country proudly in Africa, Germany, and the USA.
He participated in the Berlin Airlift during
the Korean War.
He married Lucille Lloyd
September 25, 1953 in Boise, Idaho. Bill's favorite hobby was vegetable
gardening.
He spent thousands of hours
planting, weeding, harvesting, and canned many of his vegetables.
While living in Dry Creek, he vied with close
friends Carl and Celeste Rush, as to who would have the First Red Tomato! He
was also a master carpenter and used PVC pipe for many of his creations. He
could fix anything and most times you didn't have to ask him, he just knew what
needed to be done.
He loved helping his
kids, grandkids, friends, neighbors, and he didn't know a stranger.
He was a Seattle Mariners baseball fanatic!!
If he couldn't watch the game he taped it to
watch later.
He was funny, witty,
loving, giving, and always had stories to tell. He will be missed. Bill was
preceded in death by his parents, James & Charlotte, Brothers James
“Richard”, Donald, his big sister Ruth Haley, granddaughter Amy Michelle
Wallace, and
his brother-in-law and best
friend of 60+ years George “Bones” Bogdan.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lucille, his sister Dorothy
Bogdan, children, Franklin (Sue), Robert (Ramona), Jeffrey (Alicia) Wallace,
Bret Wallace, and Samantha (Jerry) Wagner.
Also, Grandchildren Lindsay (Rick) Wilmot, Katie Nice, Gabrielle, Jesse,
Rosalind, Samuel, Mary Wallace, Maximus and Persephone Wagner & two
Grandsons named William Wallace in honor of their Grandfather, and 4 great
grandchildren, Sullivan and Spencer Wilmot, and Janie and Jaydon Nice. Viewing
will be Sunday, January 25
th
from 4-8 p.m.at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel,
5400 Fairview Ave., Boise.
A graveside service will be held at the
Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 26
th
.
Following, at 3 p.m., a memorial service to
honor Bill and celebrate his life will be in Caldwell at the Ustick Rd. Church
of the Nazarene, 817 W. Ustick Rd. Directions: 10

Caldwell, left at light, stay on 10
